Look 37: Deep In Red & DIY Pearl & Leather Necklace Tutorial

Hi guys!
How's January going so far?
For me, its been good, even though I'm staying at home a lot during this break from college.
I made a very simple necklace and, as promised, I will be providing a tutorial further in this post.
This is just a casual outfit, I had to run some errands today so i kept it simple.
Tshirt and knit skirt. More details and the tutorial for the necklace below.

Now for the necklace!

Supplies:

1. Pliers
2. 20" Long Leather Cord
3. Scissors
4. Pearls (of course!)
5. A Spring Ring Clasp (picture below)

Here's a picture of what the clasp looks like. It has this extension so that you can secure your cord.

On to the instructions....

Step 1. Grab your 20" Leather cord and fold about 1 cm of one end of it.

Step 2. Place the folded bit on the securing place of the clasp and close it using pliers.
Remember! Do this only to one end, we'll use the other to feed the pearls.

Step 3. Make a knot 4 inches away from the clasp.

Step 4. Feed a pearl and make another not, securing the pearl.

Step 5. Repeat step 4 every 1 inch until you have a total of 7 pearls.

Step 6. Using the same method secure the other end of your cord onto the clasp.

And you're done! So try it on ;)

I later made a variation, the one I'm wearing with my LOTD (Look Of The Day).

I hope you guys like this!

Lots of Love.

^_^
